CFMOTO Recalls

2023–2024 CFMOTO 700MT (CF900-9F)

Due to a manufacturing defect, the rear tyre steel belt may become damaged under certain off-road conditions or riding extended periods with low tyre pressure. This can lead to a loss of air pressure and result in a loss of vehicle control.

2019–2020 CFMOTO 150NK, 250NK, 300NK & 300SR

Due to a manufacturing defect, the lower clamp connecting the front suspension to the steering may fracture. This could lead to a loss of vehicle control whilst riding.

2022–2024 CFMOTO CF400-6F and CF400-10 450CL-C, 450NK, 450SR, 450SR S

The sealing washers used in the rear brake lines may not meet manufacturing specifications allowing air to enter the rear brake system. As a result, it could lead to a loss of braking performance.

2021 CFMOTO CF650 650GT, 650MT

Due to a manufacturing defect, the gear shift shaft may have been incorrectly welded. As a result, the rider may be unable to change gears leading to a loss of motive power whilst riding.

2021–2022 CFMOTO 800MT Sport and Touring

Due to improper routing during assembly, the wiring harness leading to the vehicle’s horn may become damaged or disconnected. As a result, when the steering is operated at its limits the horn may not function afterwards.

2021 CFMOTO 700 CL-X Heritage

Due to a manufacturing defect, the fuel tank may have been incorrectly welded. This could cause a fuel leak and result in a vehicle fire.

2023 CFMOTO 800MT TOURING

The engine support mounting bolts may not have been tightened to the correct torque potentially causing them to become loose and detach. If this occurs, the bolt will obstruct the rear foot brake pedal and result in reduced braking performance.

2021–2022 CFMOTO 700 CL-X 700 CL-X SPORT

Due to a software issue, the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) control module may not operate as intended. This may result in a delay in braking performance and/or an increased effort may be required to achieve the expected stopping distance.
