If you use the contact form, we collect the details you submit there. We also collect privacy-friendly product analytics such as page views, searches, and key product events to improve the service. We do not collect payment details.
2. How we use your data
- To check your saved vehicles against recall records and display results
- To send you email notifications when a new vehicle recall matches your saved VINs
- To improve RecallAU using aggregated product analytics
3. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share anonymised, aggregated statistics about RecallAU usage and recall trends. Your email address, saved VINs, and notification history are not shared with third parties except where required by law or to operate essential service providers.
4. Data storage and security
Your data is stored securely on servers located in Australia (Supabase, Sydney region). We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
5. Your rights
- You can update notification preferences from your dashboard settings
- You can export your account data from dashboard settings
- You can delete your account from dashboard settings
- You can unsubscribe from email notifications at any time
