2024–2025 FIAT Ducato Series 2

Due to a software issue, the Automatic Emergency Brake (AEB) function may not reactivate when manually turned off and then on during the same ignition cycle. In addition, the AEB icon may not illuminate to alert the driver as intended.

2018 FIAT Abarth 124 Spider

Due to a manufacturing fault the fuel pump inside the fuel delivery module could fail and result in loss of engine power.

2021 FIAT ABARTH 595

The compliance label on some vehicles may have been printed with an incorrect seating capacity of five instead of the correct seating capacity of four.

2019–2020 FIAT DUCATO

The vehicle may have been fitted with incorrect steering knuckles during the production process and may not perform as intended.

2016–2019 FIAT DUCATO

Due to a production non-conformity, the brake line retaining clip may not be fixed correctly to the clamping fastener on the firewall.

On affected vehicles the drive axle may break due to a nonconformity in the production process.

2016–2019 FIAT ABARTH

Vehicles have been recalled due to incorrect software in the transmission control module.

2018–2019 FIAT DUCATO VAN

Potential production issue with the manufacture of the throttle body. The intercooler sleeve may detach and cause the engine malfunction indicator to illuminate and a loss of engine power.

2014–2018 FIAT 500X

If the vehicle has a faulty rear seat latch and the rear seat belts are not fastened and the vehicle is involved in a collision, this could cause the rear seats to unlatch and unintentionally fold forward. Where a child restraint is fitted using the isofix anchors and not the seatbelt, the child restraint could be impacted by the folding seat.

2016–2017 FIAT Fiat Ducato II Motorhomes & Fiat Ducato II SA Motorhomes

In some variants of each of the affected models there is a socket outlet (power point or GPO) located too close to the sink, in breach of the Australian Standard AS/NZS3000:2007.

The vehicle is affected by non-conforming front brake discs whose mechanical characteristics are non-compliant. This may cause a risk of reduction in the braking efficiency and could potentially result in a broken brake disc under heavy loads. In addition, the windscreen wiper motor may fail.

There is a potential that the end connector of the diesel re-circulation pipe on the injectors may be cracked resulting in diesel seepage.

There is a potential deviation in the buckle heat treatment process. The seat belt anchorage links may not comply with safety standards.

The right side power liftgate pinch sensor may not function as intended, resulting in an increase in force required to stop the power liftgate during the final closing stages.

On some Fiat Scudo vehicles, the wiring for the power steering electric pump might interfere with one steel edge of the left front wheel arch and become damaged due to a possible layout non-compliance.

On affected vehicles the torque of the steering shaft upper joint fixing screw requires tightening. Consequences: The joint fork could eventually break with consequences on the steering direction control.

An interference may occur between the heater/climate control wiring and a bracket of the dashboard unit due to a missing retainer clip.
