2024–2026 HUSQVARNA 401 VITPILEN and 401 SVARTPILEN

Due to a software issue in the vehicle’s Engine Control Unit (ECU), the engine may stall at low RPM resulting in a sudden loss of motive power whilst riding.

2023–2024 HUSQVARNA 401 VITPILEN and 401 SVARTPILEN

Due to a manufacturing defect, the fuel tank cap seal may crack. If this occurs, fuel may leak and in the presence of an external ignition source could result in a vehicle fire.

2021–2024 HUSQVARNA Enduro Models: FE & TE

Due to a manufacturing defect, the front brake caliper may crack and break.

2021 HUSQVARNA FE (capacity - 250 , 350 , 450 , 501) and TE ( capacity 150i , 250i , 300i )

If the current locking split pins used for mounting and securing the brake pad holding bracket in the front and rear caliper are fitted incorrectly or in the wrong direction the locking pins can come out and no longer secure the brake pad holding bracket. This can cause the brake pad holding bracket to become detached resulting in a loss of braking performance.

2017–2020 HUSQVARNA 701 Enduro , 701 Enduro LR , 701 Supermoto, 701 Vitpilen and 701 Svartpilen

A clutch slave cylinder manufactured with a bellow style gasket may be damaged during assembly. Damage could result in the clutch failing to disengage preventing the rider from being able to change gears.

2021 HUSQVARNA FE (capacity - 250, 350, 450, 501) and TE (capacity 150i, 250i, 300i)

On MY22 bikes the front brake caliper locking split pins used to mount and secure the front brake pad holding bracket may have been fitted in the wrong direction. If the locking pins are fitted in the wrong direction this can result in the locking pins coming out and cause the brake pad holding bracket to become detached. Resulting in a loss of front braking performance.

2018–2020 HUSQVARNA 701 Vitpilen, 701 Svartpilen

The gear teeth on the license plate holder and swingarm may be mounted in the incorrect position, which can result in loosening of the rear wheel spindle nut. If the rear wheel spindle nut becomes loose this will affect the handling, braking and/or acceleration of the vehicle.

2020–2021 HUSQVARNA 701 ENDURO LR 2020

The front fuel tank fuel lines may rub during operation, causing wear and damage to the fuel lines over time. Fuel may leak from damaged fuel lines.

2018–2020 HUSQVARNA 701 VITPILEN, 701 SVARTPILEN

During operation or while parked, due to unevenness on the sealing surfaces, it is possible that fuel can leak out of the fuel level sensor mounting area and/or the fuel pump mounting area of the fuel tank.

2015–2017 HUSQVARNA FS 450

The piston component material located in the hand brake master cylinder (front brake) may crack or become damaged. Should that occur it can adversely affect front brake function or performance.

2012–2017 HUSQVARNA TR650 TERRA & TR650 STRADA

Potential occasional stalling in the engines of TR 650 Terra and TR 650 Strada model vehicles.

Certain batches have hand brake cylinders with defective machining. This can lead to early wear of the sealing cup in the hand brake cylinder, thus leading to impaired braking performance.

2016 HUSQVARNA FC 250

Quality deviations in the production process of the connecting rod may result in early failure and fracturing of the conrod under certain load conditions. This issue is identified to a specific vin range of FC 250 2016 vehicles in Australia.

2015 HUSQVARNA 125, 250 TC & 250, 350, 450 FC

Due to variations in the spoke manufacturing process, some spokes on the front wheel may exhibit quality deviations. Depending on where they are fitted in the wheel, care and spoke tension, it is possible that individual spokes may break while riding. This can overload the remaining intact spokes and consequently break them.

2015 HUSQVARNA FC 250, FE 250, 350, 450

Deviations in the manufacturing process of the supplier of the M12 aluminium fuel pump nut can result in insufficient sealing and cause uncontrolled fuel leakage on affected motorcycles.

2014 HUSQVARNA FC250, FC350, FC450, FE350, FE450, FE501, TC125, TC250, TE125, TE300.

Due to a change in production process, the threaded connection between the piston rod and screw cap may not be sufficiently tight. If the piston rod detaches from the screw cap, this will result in damage to the inside of the fork and it may seize.

0 HUSQVARNA TE 250 MY13 & TE 310 MY13

n both models the plastic fuel elbow may crack during removal. In addition, the TE 310 MY13 model requires a fuel tank lift kit to be installed. The fuel tank lift kit will add more clearance between the fuel tap cross over pipe and the water pump cover top bolt in order to prevent rubbing, which may result in a fuel leak.
