A condition can occur where water may enter the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) wiring connector via the earth lead.

1998–2003 Holden UBS JACKAROO & MONTEREY

A condition can occur where the Diesel fuel Injector internal sealing may deteriorate and potentially allow fuel to leak into the engine crank case and contaminate the engine oil.

2004 Holden VZ, WL

An incorrect plastic clip has been fitted to the plenum panel on a limited number of early build VZ/WL vehicles. This incorrect clip is a circular type, and if fitted, will contact the engine fuel feed hose.

2003–2005 Holden VY, VY2, V2, VZ, WK, WL

If the electrical earth wire that is fitted underneath either front seat becomes detached, an electrostatic charge can cause the side airbag to deploy when the car is stationary and whilst the occupants are exiting one of the front seats. This may cause serious injuries to the occupants of the vehicle.

2001–2004 Holden Cruze YG

Due to insufficient retention properties of the driveshaft circlip, the left hand front driveshaft may become disconnected from the transmission under certain driving conditions such as high speed driving. If the driveshaft does become disconnected the vehicle will lose drive.

Some driver's seats fitted to V2 series 3 vehicles may have been manufactured with an incorrectly routed seat memory module wiring harness or the wiring harness not positively secured.

The injector sleeve sealing (O-rings) material can deteriorate and cause fuel to leak into the crankcase. This may result in an unintentional increase in engine speed, and possibly vehicle speed.

Some vehicles have been fitted with compliance plates where incorrect information in regard to the seating capacity of the vehicle is stamped into the plate.

The Driver's seat may have been manufactured with the seat memory module wiring harness incorrectly routed, creating the potential for the wiring harness to be damaged when the seat is adjusted to the lowest position. This may result in an electrical fault.

Towbar tongues manufactured by Frontline could break whilst towing due to a brittle condition of the material.

Due to material fatigue of the front seat belt buckle anchor plate on the inner seat rail runner, there is a potential risk the front seat belt buckle anchor plate may detach from the seat rail runner.
