2020–2023 MCLAREN GT

Due to a manufacturing defect, the pipes to the rear brake system may have been incorrectly assembled. As a result, the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) and the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) may not operate as intended leading to a loss of vehicle control whilst driving.

2020–2021 MCLAREN 765LT coupe Coupe

The rear cabin window polycarbonate panel may have poor adhesion. As a result, it may detach from the vehicle under certain driving conditions.

2019–2023 MCLAREN GT

The manual release cable of the bonnet latch may have excessive tension which potentially may cause the latch to open. If this occurs, the bonnet could open unexpectedly whilst the vehicle is in motion, obstructing the driver’s view.

2022–2023 MCLAREN Artura

Due to a manufacturing defect, the low pressure fuel pipe assembly may detach. If this occurs, fuel may leak in the presence of an external ignition source resulting in a vehicle fire.

2018–2019 MCLAREN 600LT Coupe, Spider

Due to a manufacturing issue, the joint between the coolant pipe and the temperature sensor may not be sealed adequately. This could cause a coolant leak resulting in a vehicle fire.

2019–2021 MCLAREN GT

The connection to the driver airbag may not meet manufacturing specifications. As a result the driver airbag may not deploy as intended.

2019 MCLAREN 600LT and GT McLaren 600LT, McLaren GT

A component within the brake assembly may not meet manufacturing specifications. . If the component is not manufactured correctly the brake calliper will not operate correctly, the result of this would be a reduction in expected braking performance and handling of the vehicle.

2016–2020 MCLAREN 720S, 570GT, GT, SENNA

The noise vibration and harshness (NVH) foam pad positioned underneath the fuel tank can potentially trap corrosive moisture, which can over time cause corrosion of the surface of the fuel tank.

Part of the vehicle's engine harness may come into contact with the metal link pipe heatshield and chafe, causing damage to wires within the engine harness bundle.
