2023–2024 Mack CLX

Due to improper assembly, the battery isolation switch may be susceptible to water ingress. As a result, the rollover sensor could send an incorrect signal to the battery leading to a sudden loss of motive power whilst driving.

2015–2021 Mack CLX, CXX CMH

Due to a manufacturing error, incorrect disconnect switches and junction box mounting brackets may have been installed. This could cause the battery cable to break and result in a sudden loss of vehicle power whilst driving.

2021–2022 Mack ANA, CLX, CMH, CSM

Due to a manufacturing defect, the gear set within the power steering assembly may have been installed incorrectly resulting in a loss of steering control.

2018–2022 Mack ANA, CLX, CMM, CMH and CSM

The fuse power stud located in the battery box may corrode over time. This may cause an electrical short circuit with the mounting bracket and could result in a vehicle fire.

2018–2021 Mack CSM Metro-Liner

Due to incorrect software, the cruise control may fail to disengage if triggered when electronic stability control intervention is required, unless the brake pedal is applied.

2008–2019 Mack CSM, CMM, CMH, CLX, CXX

Affected vehicles may shut down without warning while the vehicle is in operation, due to a loss of electrical power.

2015–2016 Mack TRIDENT, SUPER-LINER & TITAN

The cab power and ground cable terminals (eyelets) may crack and eventually fail where the terminal attaches to the cab pass through plate.

2012–2015 Mack Titan Superliner Granite Trident

In certain circumstances the driveshaft could fail and separate at the centre bearing, disabling the vehicle.

2008–2016 Mack TITAN, GRANITE, SUPER-LINER, METRO-LINER, TRIDENT

Potential failure of the split pin, used to secure the brake pedal clevis pin, may cause the clevis pin to come loose, possibly causing the brake pedal to fall to the floor rendering the service brakes inoperable.
