2022–2023 Mercedes-Benz Unimog Unimog UHE and FGA

Due to a manufacturing defect, the steering gear’s bearing bushing may become detached from the steering assembly. If this occurs, the vehicle may experience a sudden loss of steering control whilst driving.

The hydrostatic control unit may fail, switching the transmission from hydrostatic to manual transmission mode.

2015–2017 Mercedes-Benz UNIMOG

Damage may occur in the electrical frame wiring harness along the right longitudinal frame member.

In affected vehicles the electrical lines of the jump-start socket may have been connected incorrectly. When a further vehicle is connected for the purpose of starting assistance, an incorrect jump start socket may result in a short circuit and the electrical lines and jump-start socket may be overloaded.

The wall thickness of the seat mounting bracket on the affected vehicles is insufficient and a mechanical failure of the mounting bracket may occur.
