The passenger seat occupant sensor may not meet manufacturing specifications. This sensor is used to detect if the seat is occupied and determine whether to deploy the passenger airbag in the event of an accident. If the sensor does not operate as intendent, it may result in an airbag not deploying when required.

Due to poor stiffness of the rear licence plate bracket around the single mounting point, there is a possibility this may lead to cracking as a result of metal fatigue caused by vibration when driving on a rough (corrugated) roads. In this condition, the licence plate lamp wiring may sever, and the licence plate may dislodge from the vehicle.
