Defect

The fuel tank ventilation line may not be correctly located. If the ventilation line rubs against the vehicle, it may wear through.

Hazard

Fuel vapour may be released to the atmosphere.

Remedy

Known owners will be contacted by BMW Group Australia Ltd or a BMW dealer. Consumers may contact an authorised BMW Service centre, or call the BMW Group Customer Interaction Centre on 1 800 813 299 to arrange inspection and repair.
