Defect

The rear seat belt buckles may have a defective latch.

Hazard

In the event of a frontal impact, a defective latch could fail, causing the rear seat occupant to be unrestrained by the seat belt. If the seat belts do not adequately restrain the occupant, there is an increased risk of injury during a collision.

Remedy

Owners are advised to contact their Ford authorised Dealership for inspection and rectification. For further information, contact any authorised Ford Dealer or Ford's Customer Relationship Centre on 1800 503 672.
