Defect

In some of the affected vehicles, the union nut (locknut) that attaches the Fuel Delivery Module to the fuel tank may not have been completely engaged when installed. This may result in fuel leakage.

Hazard

Fire.

Remedy

Known owners will be contacted by mail. For further information, contact any authorised Ford Dealer or Ford's Customer Relationship Centre on toll free 1800 333 306.
