Defect

The weld nuts for the child restraint anchor fitting may be missing at both the driver's and passenger side rear restraint point. There should be 3 usable points. This violates Australian regulation (ADR 3 34).

Hazard

The customer may not be able to correctly install a child restraint, increasing the risk of injury if fitted.

Remedy

Mitsubishi Motors Australia Authorised dealers will contact owners as soon as possible. Consumers who require further information should contact Mitsubishi Motors Australia on 1300 1312 11.
