Defect

In select vehicles, there is a build issue with the steering column. As a result, the steering column cartridge screw is not to specification.

Hazard

If the screw disengages from the column cartridge thread, the actions of the steering column cannot be predicted. This may result in serious injury or death to the vehicle occupants.

Remedy

Lotus Queensland will contact the affected consumers, and remedy the defect free of charge. For further information, affected consumers can visit Lotus Australia's website https://www.lotuscars.com/dealer/lotus-queensland
