Defect

The resistor mounted on the circuit board inside the CVT controller may develop a crack in the soldered portion, due to a manufacturing error.

Hazard

The CVT controller may fail to control the CVT oil pressure properly, resulting in restricted vehicle speed and poor acceleration.

Remedy

Affected owners will be contacted by direct mail. Affected owners should contact their nearest authorised Suzuki dealer to arrange for an inspection and repair of the vehicle. To find their nearest authorised Suzuki dealer, consumers can go to http://suzukiqld.com.au/locate/ or call 1300 502 925.
