Defect

Due to a manufacturing issue, the battery cable connection point may break. As a result the vehicle may experience a loss of electrical power and engine shutdown without warning.

Hazard

A loss of power while driving increases the risk of an accident, causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and bystanders.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicle can contact their authorised Daimler Commercial Vehicle Dealership as soon as possible to have the work carried out, free of charge.
