Defect

Due to a manufacturing issue, the brake caliper bolts may not have been tightened sufficiently and could become loose. If this occurs it may reduce the expected braking performance.

Hazard

A reduction or loss in braking performance could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles can contact their nearest authorised Mercedes-Benz dealership to have the work carried out as soon as possible free of charge. Consumers may use the Mercedes-Benz online booking service, by visiting www.mercedes-benz.com.au/servicebooking
