Defect

Due to a manufacturing issue, the steering shaft may separate from the steering box resulting in a loss of steering control.

Hazard

A loss of steering control could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death of vehicle occupants and/or other road users.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles should contact their preferred Western Star dealer to arrange to have the necessary work carried out and to have the parts ordered prior to your arrival, Free of charge.
