Defect

The design of the rear wall cabinets is not sufficient to ensure their integrity is maintained in the case of a frontal collision.

Hazard

In the event of an accident, the rear wall cabinet components may become detached, and they and the cabinet contents may transform into lethal projectiles resulting in injury or death to vehicle occupants.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles should contact their authorised Daimler Truck dealership in order to reinstall the cabinet with the added reinforcement, free of charge. Note: We ask owner to have the rear wall cabinet reinstall by your Authorised Daimler Truck Dealership or to stop using the vehicle.
