Defect

Due to a manufacturing defect, the fuel feed hose may become chafed and could cause a fuel leak in the engine compartment. This may result in a vehicle fire.

Hazard

A vehicle fire could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users or bystanders.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles can contact their nearest authorised Mercedes-Benz dealership to have the work carried out as soon as possible free of charge.
