Defect

Honda Genuine accessory window tint applied to the front (door) side windows does not meet specifications and may be too dark and reduce visibility.

Hazard

Reduced visibility will potentially increase the risk of an accident, causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles should ensure their contact details are correct with Honda Australia who will contact the owners of affected vehicles by mail and advise them to take their vehicle to a Honda Dealer for removal of the tint and a refund for the cost of the tint that was applied to the front door (side) windows.
