Defect

Due to a manufacturing defect, the front passenger airbag may not deploy as intended.

Hazard

In the event of an accident, an airbag not deploying as intended could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles can contact their most convenient Mercedes-Benz dealership to have the airbag replaced, free of charge.
