Defect

Due to a software issue, the integrated control module software may cause system errors. This can result in a sudden loss of motive power.

Hazard

A sudden loss of power while driving may increase the risk of an accident causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Honda Australia Motorcycles in writing asking them to schedule an appointment to have the software updated, free of charge.
